2023 CARS Racing Show Was a Success
The 2023 CARS Racing Show was a huge success, with over 75 exhibitors and 2,500 visitors, the turnout was amazing! We are so happy to have been able to host such an amazing event! In addition to packed halls and aisles bursting with the latest products, the CARS Racing Show at Hickory Metro Convention Center hosted RaceKnowHow Seminars, VIP appearances, and autograph signings throughout both days (January 6-7) of the Show.
Attendees and Exhibitors alike gave great reviews of the show. “The show was amazing and continues to grow with quality vendors. Great job by the entire staff”, said attendee Don Blackshear. “Best show in the southeast for circle track racing. Amazing job with what you all have built & continue to build upon.” says Cody King from Dirt Car Lift, an exhibitor of the show. The general consensus for both exhibitors and attendees was that the smaller intimate environment of CARS was a great opportunity to meet with vendors and businesses that they deal with on a regular basis and have a chance to talk one on one. “The show is nice and intimate compared to PRI. I like that I can take time and talk with the vendors.”, says Jeff Kirkendall.
Introduced in 2011, and revamped in 2020 this is the shows 3rd consecutive year. Ticket sales and booth sales increase year after year, and the show is certainly gaining some traction in the dirt track racing industry. With exhibitors including Hammond Motorsports, Pro Fabrication Headers and Exhaust, CrateInsider, Velocita, KRC Power Steering, Jones Racing Products, and the Presenting Sponsor- Daytona 1- the CARS Show is certainly the place to be in January if you’re in the racing industry.
Newsome Raceway Parts was also an exhibitor at the 2023 show and gave away two motors to two lucky racers. Jeremy Steele and Geoffrey Rafko were the lucky winners of the 602 and 604 engine raffle. Many more giveaways and promos were held at the show- Out-Pace Racing gave away a Bar Kit, and RaceKnowHow gave away a Boyd Bilt Spring Smasher and Tire Smasher to a subscriber that attended the show.
Race schedule releases were also announced at the 2023 CARS Show, Blue Ridge Outlaws and American Racer Modifieds by Velocita released their 2023 Schedules at the show, which was a huge attraction and was reported by Chicken Bone Alley, a racing podcast hosted by David Rogers.
Next years show is already on the books for January 5-6th, 2024. Booth sales for next years show have begun, and many 2023 exhibitors have already committed to the 2024 show.
